Seaside Historic
Maintaining period elements and proportions are critical when remodeling homes of historical importance. This home had suffered serious
neglect and various eclectic renovations, which were unsympathetic
to its original Victorian character. Raising the first floor
above the base flood elevation created an opportunity to add
a wraparound porch and detailing that enhanced the appeal
of the original architecture. Opening up the floor plan maximized the coastal views. |
