Expanding a home to meet the needs of a growing family while maintaining sensitivity to the scale of the homes surroundings is always a challenge, especially when adding a second floor. The floor plan we created maximizes the house's square footage, but tucks the second floor into the roofline by utilizing dormers to maintain a one-story cottage appearance.
